Subject: where is Fairfax??????
not to denigrate any individual taper's efforts, but it is absurd that there are no less than 8 copies of the Barton Hall show on Archive, which was only mediocre at best, and no copies of Fairfax show, which was stellar. Am I the only person who thinks so?

Subject: Awesome
Despite some negative sound quality reviews (BS) regarding Barton Hall. This aud recording is one of the best sounding of the tour. I have listened to the best copies from virtually all the shows except Hampton (Sounds great) and Fairfax. The recording is very balanced over the frequency range and is not over powered by too much bass. Recording is 5 stars. Great show too.

where did you find the Fairfax sb to buy? I will gladly pay the cash for this one...and as always, I appreciate the hell out of the tapers for ALL their efforts! Just saw where Furthur will be at Allgood this year...summer tour???!!! :) :) :)

Subject: oh and BTW...
...it was nice of Bobby to let JK sing Sugaree this time around. In general, as the band works out it's stuff, everything will settle into place. But I notice Phil is singing fewer songs, which is kind of a shame, since he still does a good job on a lot of them, including Franklin's and Mountains of the Moon...and on Peggy-O tonight!

Subject: ascheylus is a little kid
You obviously dont appreciate ANYTHING. Where's your rig? You are to blame for the non-post of the Fairfax show. If I was recording, I simply wouldn't post it because of fool's like you. I have seen these guys a few times, and they blow the roof off the joint, always.

Now, simply judging by the setlist, I would rather have seen the Barton Hall Show. I'm listening to the entire thing and there is PLENTY of energy. What makes this show 3 stars? I'm not going to give it 5, but 3? Grow up kid. What makes Fairfax "far and away" better? Please, enlighten me ya d-bag.

ascheylus:

Did you bring your recording rig to Fairfax? Maybe you should post the recording.

Dude...are you going to pester every taper! Like I said in my other review...Get a life or a recording rig for yourself so you don't have to hassle the wonderful people who take the time to record these...You seem to be very UNGRATEFUL!
